Marie Stopes Bangladesh also delivers family planning, safe MR, and sexual health services fulfilling the mission of children by choice, not by chance. MSB is looking for an Advocacy Officer under the project of COF PSS to support the team and identify capacity and skills gaps and organise capacity building training or refresher trainings as required. This position will be contractual position till 14th March 2024 based in Head Office, Dhaka and required extensive field visit. Key Role: ★ Form District advocacy working group and arrange Quarterly coordination meetings with the group.★ Arrange training on SMART advocacy approach and orientation on UH&FWC monitoring tool to district advocacy working group and prepare training report.★ Arrange workshop with civil society on PESTLE analysis, setting SMART objectives, influencer mapping, message preparation and planning for next steps.★ Arrange Workshop with the MCRAH unit of DGFP to orient on budget tracking tool.★ Arrange Round table meeting with civil society, newspaper editors, and DGFP decision makers.★ Arrange DGFP officials visit to the MSB’s MR/MRM/PAC public sector strengthening sites for practical demonstration of the demand for services and service quality.★ Arrange Workshop with DGFP and MoH to share the evidence findings and develop action plan on approach and process of CIP.★ Arrange Workshop with DGFP and MoH to assist preparing costed implementation plan based on realistic evidence on providers capacity gaps and combi pack demands at UH&FWCs, and DGFP gives consent to develop operational plan aligned with CIP.★ Arrange Informal meetings with DGFP decision makers to follow-up the progress and assist office documentation process to accelerate the operational plan approval process. Key Requirements: ★ Master’s degree in social science/Development studies/any other related subject from a recognized university.★ 3 to 5 years working experience in advocacy-based project and have experience on monitoring, project implementation with development organization (NGO). ★ Experience in working in SRH and with DGFP will get preference.
