Position: Head of Accounts & Finance / AGM Accounts & Finance

Job Context

Manage and maintain all aspects of the Accounting functions. Properly maintain accounting books and records, and provide required information to BSEC, DSE, CSE, NBR and Bangladesh Bank as per required Rules, Regulations, and Directive.

Job Responsibilities

• Check daily expenditures, vouchers, requisitions, and daily transactions.
• Monitor & Contact all kinds of financial transaction of the organization.
• Monitor the accounts, records & transaction at all times to keep proper & complete accounting records of the organization.
• Finalization / Confirm of client’s payable, issue all cheques, monitor all received & payment procedure and provide received & payment voucher thereon.
• Prepare and ensure the timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annually Financial
  Statements and Management accounts.
• Prepare required statement and information as per Rules, Regulations, and Directive of BSEC, DSE and CSE.
• Responsible for VAT, TAX and all local statutory compliances and submit yearly IT return, withholding tax return and monthly VAT return.

Educational Requirements

• M.Com in Accounting/Finance from reputed University with CA Inter / Partly Qualified.

Experience Requirements

• 12 years

Additional Requirements

Technical Skill:

• Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to apply conceptual, analytical, and evaluative skills in accounting operations.
• Ability to prepare and maintain the full set of accounts
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Accounting Software
• Fluency in oral and written English
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Required knowledge of Rules, Regulations, and Directive of BSEC, DSE and CSE.
• Adequate knowledge on Tax & Vat.
