Job Context
• Branch Manager/ Operations Manager for Satmasjid Road Branch, Dhanmondi, Dhaka
• Position: AVP and Above
• Position will be offered to the deserving candidates on the basis of experience and competence.
Job Responsibilities
• Ensuring smooth functioning of daily banking operations and high quality customer services
• Deposit procurement, building long-term relationship with customers and ensuring branch growth
• Ensure Branch Profitability i.e. accountable for achieving set targets of assigned team in terms of Assets and Liabilities
• Playing key role for delivering tailored financial solutions that meet customer’s needs; building long lasting relationship with local community
• Ensure effective process, regulatory compliance and controls for preventing money laundering in line with regulatory requirements
• Leading, coaching and managing people, assisting them to achieve individual and team targets as well as fostering their individual career development aspirations
• Work in close partnership with Senior Management, Credit Risk Management Team, Credit Administration Team, Trade Finance and others to ensure branch business and satisfactory customer services

Educational Requirements
• Post-Graduation preferably in business background from any reputed public/private university with no Third Division/Class
Additional Requirements
• Age at most 50 years
• Minimum 10 years of experience in any reputed bank with 3 years of experience in similar role preferably in mentioned locality
• Post-Graduation preferably in business background from any reputed public/private university
• Solution oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute diversified ideas to branch business and standard customer services
• Experience of working in a centralized process and real time on-line banking environment are preferable
• Strong knowledge of Branch Operations, SME Business, Corporate business, Credit Management and Foreign Trade Operations are required
• Strong networking and communications with business-oriented customers resulting in long term mutual business relationship
• Well conversant with Bank Companies Act, Partnership Act, Bangladesh Artha Rin Adalat, AML Act, Negotiable Instrument Act, Regulatory Guidelines & Bangladesh Bank time to time guidelines and policies etc.
• Leadership personality, team player and can-do attitude are preferred.
