| Job Responsibilities | * Identify and develop areas where information security policies and procedures require creation or update; confer with management, developers, auditors, facilities and other business unit personnel to identify and security for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and computer installations * Provide risk assessment and security briefings related to security issues; manage IT security awareness programs and activities and advise resource owners on formation of appropriate security policies * Provide education, awareness and training to community members * Provide overall security program strategic direction to improve the information security posture and assurance level of the organization * Conduct periodic assessments and regular monitoring of campus information security controls and practices to ensure compliance with Client policy and regulatory requirements * Make recommendations for improving controls and practices to reduce risks related to information security * Performing network vulnerability assessments and assist with the management of the ITS policy portfolio * Other duties as assigned |
Educational Qualification & Other Competencies
| * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from any reputed university with satisfactory academic track record in Computer Science, Engineering or in other relevant field * 3-5 Years of hands on experience in information security, ICT audit, IT governance or in other relavent field * Experience in installing, configuring and maintaining firewalls * Knowledge of information security standards, data privacy laws, Bangladesh Bank’s etc. * Business continuity/resumption planning, Disaster recovery planning and testing, Risk analysis * Knowledge and experience with networking concepts, protocols and services * Good knowledge about Windows, Linux Server, logs diagnosis and if needed prepare plan for mitigate * Excellent written and oral business communication skills * Knowledge of CISCO CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, CEH, Cisco ASA Firewall and strong routing & switching experience will be an added advantage * Understanding on ISO 27001 and PCIDSS compliance |
