One day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Gabriel (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “Every time you came to me, there was sadness and anxiety on your forehead.” What is the reason for this? – Gabriel (peace be upon him) in response to the question of the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, I have never smiled since the creation of Hell.

- The depths of Hell are such that if a stone is thrown out of its mouth, it takes 70 years to reach the bottom of Hell. On the Day of Judgment Hell will be dragged by 70,000 chains, each of which will carry 70,000 angels.
- The moon and the sun will be thrown into hell and it will be lost in hell.
- The skin of the body of the inmates of Hell will be 126 feet full so that the torment will be very terrible, they will have more sesame seeds in their body which is equal to one mountain of Uhud.
- Every day the torment of Hell will be more severe and terrible than the day before.
- The food of hell will be thorny trees and the drink will be boiling water, a mixture of pus and blood and heated oil.
- This horrible and unimaginable torment of Hell will continue for eternity, if the inhabitants of Hell at one stage try to escape by breaking through the walls of Hell they will be beaten with iron hammer.
