Project Manager-STEP

The Role:
The Project Manager will be responsible to coordinate with the Consortium members and lead the project management and ensuring technical guidance to the implementing partner. She/he will ensure the quality implementation of the project, donor reporting, and documentation. The job holder will identify the essential requirements of organization system development, help partners to improve those systems and build the technical capacity of the project staff members throughout the project implementation process. She/he will maintain compliance, program quality standards, and administrative and financial requirements of Plan International and the donor. She/he will be responsible for promoting collaborative relationships, networking, and advocating project approaches to the concerned authority, departments, and like-minded organizations at the divisional and district level. The jobholder also will be responsible to support Plan International Bangladesh in emergencies as and when required.
What we’re looking for:
We need a self-motivated and energetic individual with Master’s degree in Disaster Management, Development Studies, or any relevant subjects from a reputed university; Applicant should have at least 5 years’ relevant working experience and at least 3 years in a managerial position. Significant field experience in managing DRR & CCA and Humanitarian response projects ensuring quality standards in a complex situation. Experience to work with the CBO and Youth groups to collaborate with UDMCs and WDMCs for risk assessment and socio-economic vulnerability profiling for defining social vulnerability. Has to have skill to develop Multi-hazard Zone Maps for Community Risk Assessment and Assessment of Climate Change Impacts, vulnerability using GIS techniques for Sustainable End-to-End Climate, Flood and Cyclone Forecast Application. Should have expertise in Cyclone Shelter vulnerability assessment, emergency response and disaster preparedness. Also have experience on people-centric early warning, forecast interpretation and dissemination. Needs to be technically sound and expert on modern database management tools like MS Access, MS Excel, ppt, etc.

Monthly consolidated salary range for this role is Tk. 129,040.00 to Tk. 141,000.00 (may vary based on experience) along with other benefits i.e. Life Insurance, Hospitalization Insurance coverage along with Out Patient Treatment Benefit.
