Job Description/Responsibility

• Ensure Project Management & Governance best practices, disciplines and standards are established and maintained within all initiated and assigned projects.
• Responsible for overall Project Management and coordination of assigned projects. including hiring contractors as needed to complete specific tasks.
• Ability to handle large-scale commercial Financial Projects covering all aspects of the project.
• Facilitates project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, feedback, fostering open communication within the team on project planning and execution.
• Ensure project is managed with project tracking tools like Jira/Confluence/Trello/MS Project.
• Coordinates and facilitates post project/milestone reviews.
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
• Responsible for ensuring proper change control processes are in place for requirement capturing and service delivery.
• Responsible for reviewing and approval of all change requests for CAAB submission.
• Ensure controls measures are established and regular maintenance of risk logs to minimize project risks.
• Responsible for maintaining issues, risks, change, and other program and project registers and logs.
• Ensure project risks are identified and risk management meetings are held and mitigation plans are updated. Escalates risk mitigation as appropriate.
• Ensure project STECO meetings are held for assigned projects and overall responsible for developing the STECO presentations and reports.
• Tracks project budget and other metrics.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor/ Honors in Computer Science & Engineering.

Additional Academic Requirements

• Bachelors in any major (preferably in Computer Science/ Engineering)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience is required.

Additional Experience Requirements

• Have at least 10+ Years of ‘Project Management’ experience in either Software Development, Banking, Finance, Fintech, E-commerce.

Skills Requirements

•     Managed large scale client projects from Banks, Financial institutions, Local Govt Administrative Institutions, International Card Perso Bureaus and MNOs.
•     Professional certification in PMP/PRINCE II.
•     Awareness of PCI-DSS and Certifications Frameworks like ISO9001/27001.
•     Familiarity with Bangladesh MFS and Banking regulatory guidelines and other international regulations.
•     Strong managerial and leadership skills and abilities.
•     Experience with budget management and oversight of multimillion-dollar projects.
•     Program design and project management experience.
•     Organized and effective time and resource manager.
•     Ability to prioritize work and direct multiple activities in a fluid and dynamic environment.
•     Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing in Bangla and English.
•     Collaborative, team-oriented individual.
