COAST Foundation (www.coastbd.net) is a value based independent, non-profit and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), awarded special consultative status with UN Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), participating in survival strategies of coastal poor. It believes in integration of right based approach in micro finance, striving for sustainable development initiatives, maintaining a level of transparency, participation, accountability, gender sensitivity and respects to human rights principles in management. Along with other development programs in other coastal districts, it is also implementing the humanitarian emergency responses for Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals in Cox’s Bazar with the financial supports of PKSF, Tear Fund, UNHCR and UNICEF. The organization is seeking CVs from interested applicants for the following position:

Position	:	Senior Coordinator- Social Media and Development Communication
Academic Background	:	Masters with honors in Journalism/International Relation/ Gender & Development Studies/Sociology from any public/ reputed private university.
Working base	:	Principal Office, Dhaka but field visit in Bhola, Cox’s Bazar and other coastal districts at least once in a month.
Age	:	25-35 years.

Knowledge and Experiences: Should have capacity and experiences of at least two years for making short film and uploading in the website/youtube/facebook/twitter and other social media, knowledge in graphics design video editing, camera operating and digital photography, software operating etc. Other skills like dateline maintaining, report writing and communication skills and computer literacy in English/Bangla will have the necessity for the candidates.  

We are seeking a candidate with knowledge and skills in both software and hardware related to operating a Community Radio station. Moderate-level proficiency in hardware such as broadcast consoles and transmitters, as well as software like SAM DJ, Adobe Premiere Pro, and OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), is expected.

Priority will be given to candidates who possess progressive knowledge of politics, human rights, neoliberalism, and social media campaign.

Salary and benefits:

For the position starting salary within the range of BDT 40-60 thousand (also it is negotiable) per month plus all other benefits like two festival allowances, contributory provident fund, gratuity, travel, medical, mobile allowances etc. as per organizational policy.
